Spreading Hope & Love
In 2020 Gorge Blooms Of Hope was started by The Humes, a local family in Hood River Oregon as their act of service for the community. By repurposing floral arrangements from the many weddings held in the valley, we help spread love and hope to long term care patients and the elderly here in the Columbia Gorge.

In addition to our donation collection and delivery - we grow our own dahilas at our home in our dahlia patch! We use flowers from our garden to supplement the donations and during peak dahlia seaon we deliver weekly to the local old folks homes in Hood River.
In 2026 we opened up a roadside farm stand to sell our flowers to help cover the costs of growing our flowers and give our community an opportunity to buy our blooms.
